17" turbo/cup3 replicas - quality??
hi guys, I've found a set of theese REPLICA wheels for a reliable price. I'm really thinking on them...the producer is RH, all the wheels are 7,5" wide, the bolt pattern is 5x100, which would be good to me, as mine is 4x100 at the moment. The ET is 35. Would it fit on my bug with stock fenders and 2" narrowed beam?? Actually I'm using 20mm spacers for my 7,5 16s but I don't know the ET of my actual wheels...
What do you know the quality and weight of theese rims?? If I'm rigth, originally they were produced by porsche just in 18" which is too big for me, but I really like the design. |
Hello Bogara_ZO
as far as the fenders concers I can't really help. About quality of wheel, RH is one of the very good choices of Porsche aftermarket wheels you can have, although they are a little bit to the heavier side as far as weight concerns. I would definitely choose them, especially in comparison with some cheap Italian made wheels of more or less the same price and double weight!! ( I had a set of these wheels which happilly for me I sold them, the rear wheel 9X17 with 255 tyre weight as much as 29kgrs!!!) Friendly JIMP |
thnx. I've found it on ebay...the auction starts from 400euros and at the moment there are no bids on them...i think it's a good price, isn't it? I'm planning 205/40(45?) to the front and 215/45 on the back. Really don't know what to do. Magnesium wheels would be better but my actuals have to be as heavy as the RHs, so in this view there is no problem. My main question was the quality, I have doubt with RH's quality  anyway, thanks for it.

And what about Mille Miglia's quality??

I think they came in 17", and 18". Proof that they're genuine would be the 993 xxx xxx part number, and hollow spokes.
