Good for high heat and presure in the combustion chamber, like turbo or supercharger setups, not for street engines. You really can't take full advantage of these types of coatings unless you're racing full time.

For the high price and small gain, it's not worth it. You don't have a turbo. Look up cryo-rem or cryogenic treating, or nitriding if you want to spend money. Youre better off using that monet for redline sequential fuel injection or a porsche type fan and shroud. Is the engine cleaner with these coatings?
The oil shedding block coating allows the block to be cleaner, but as long as the engine is running and heating up and burning and creating carbon, it's going to be dirty, so the thermal coating won't really keep the chambers clean. On the other hand, if you rout your breather box to your carbs, the intakes and chambers will get nasty after awhile. Best thing is a small electric vacuum pump attatched to the breather system. You gain power from it too.
There are MANY other more effective, not to mention cheaper, ways out there to gain power.

You were smart to go with the dis ignition. Can you use an MSD box with it?
