Euro Auto Festival Oct 19-21

Well Euro Auto Festival is this coming weekend.

The Euro Auto Festival is a 3-day automotive event that brings together European Car enthusiasts to display, celebrate and share special stories about the great car marques of Europe. Now in its 12th year, the Festival features a popular car show, an autocross, special exhibits, specialty merchants and a road rally for all participants.

The 2007 Euro Auto Festival will be held October 19-21 at the BMW Zentrum located next to the BMW Manufacturing Co. on I-85, between Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina. The featured marque for this year's festival is Austin Healey, and there will be a wide variety of vehicles on hand to represent the breadth, beauty and performance of this legendary British marque.

Last year this event was a lot of fun with lots of very interesting cars, good food and drinks.....

Details of the event can be found at:

I plan to head up to the show on Saturday morning with the family and hang out all day. I hope to see you there.

We won't make it either. The "Peanut Special" will be land speed racing at the Maxton Mile in North Carolina and Jake and I are going to head up in the RV to cheer him on!

Wish us luck...he just needs one more mph to break the record! :D

We had a good time at Euro on Saturday. Zen, his father (in his beautiful 356) my son and I drove up to the BMW facility and saw a lot of awesome cars. The weather was perfect, the cars were great, the setting was just right.

There were several VW's in attendence, air and water cooled, 1949 to 2007.

Hopefully we can have more GL's there next year since one won an award this year!!!!

wrenchnride247 October 21st 2007 21:47

Glad you had a good time... so, you got an award?

Maybe there will be another GL next year

I just got back from Indian Wells, Calif., in another attempt at a national tennis team tournament ... and saw this. I hope your dad is okay, Dave. My thoughts are with you and him.

My dads knee removal went well, or as well as it could. The Dr. said that this time his left leg would be 4 inches shorter than his right when they are done (seam to loose about a 1/2 inch every time they do this).
