Suby pan shortening

I need to shorten the pan and pickup on a Suby engine and I cannot find the offer to send me a drawing on how to do this using side "wings" to maintain the volume. Rather than reinvent the wheel, it would be nice to build on past experience.

yes I know I can buy one, but I am in Thailand and the cost will double by the time it is landed so I need to do it myself.

You dont need the wings on the oilpan. you just add the correct ammount of oil and make a new mark on the dipstick.

the pan is so deep that this wil not be a problem with throwing up oil.
i think the distance from the crank and downt to bottom of oilpan is about 20cm. more than enough to clear the oil level.

I dont bother to shorten mine because its not the lowest part of the car. but i wil get one of Martins sumps later for the looks.
