Hi

You may be better off asking this question on AussieVeedubbers or vwkd.co.uk

I'm not sure where you're at but I ran into the same problem. Unfortunately you can't use the wrx ecu because the ecu plugs are different. I'm not sure what legacy ecus there are to choose from or if they will work with the single turbo conversion. Your best bet might be a plug and play setup from outfront motorsports or the like. It's expensive but it's ready to go out of the box.

Sean,

Go over to NASIOC.. and check the Engine Tuning section, this has been addressed there plenty of times with all the swaps occuring..

IF the Wrx ecu is usuable, you can leverage some open source software, to do the road tune yourself.. I spoke to a guy 2-3 years ago, and he had done it on a Saab 92x.. and said it was not to difficult to map it yourself.. or find someone with a similiar map to leverage..

Either way, NASIOC may be a good place to start.. Just watch out, there are a bunch of folks who lack maturity, and can be a PITA to deal with..

you can use the twin turbo ecu to run the motor with 1 turbo . people have done this with good results.
