Performance Ghia website

Hi,
I'm not sure really where to put this so if I've posted in the wrong place... sorry :)

Performance Ghia is no longer trading. I don't have the time and as I've just started a new Degree, I don't have the money to put into it to keep it going...

However, The PG website will be staying only in an informative position and I've finally updated it!! I know that its way way overdue and I apologise for the length of time its taken me to get around to it.

The new updates are:
T1 and T2 Chassis numbers.
Volkswagen Option codes.
Volkswagen Model Numbers.
Volkswagen Paint codes.
Metric Fastner information.

There are new Links including to the German Look website.

I will be adding a Forums link page for quick reference.

The family 1303LS Cabriolet is comming along slowly and I'll be adding a feature page on it which will follow the car as it comes together. The Body is just back from the paint shop and looking great. The car will feature the usual PG features, Porsche brakes, rear adjustable suspension, interior, wheels etc and is in a Cool new BMW Colour only just released last month on the X3! For the moment power will be from a stock brand new 1600 Engine with 'S gearbox.

I'll be adding more and more information pages on suspension and Brake updates as I get time.

Keep the dream alive all...

Hey Mike,

Thanks for gathering and sharing information. Best of luck on pursuing the new degree. You have made some of these conversions possible for those of us who started this before it was a normal forum discussion. Heck, I remember when Topline asked me why anyone would want smaller coil front shocks or mount Porsche wheels in the first place. Times have changed, and you helped make it possible.

Thanks,

Randy

Aw shucks guys

Jeez, thanks guys.... I don't know what to say! (doesn't happen very often!)

All I can say is you guys played as much as part as anyone in getting the German look thing really moving on the internet.

Lets keep it going :)

I remember back in 2000 sufin through the web, just a newbie to the whole GL idea, I remember coming across this one website. It was called performanceghia.com and on those web pages I remember learning how to put a 901 box in, 944 brakes on, fitting Porshe wheels. From that day on I was through and through a German Look dude. Thanks Micheal!

Just think of the shoe boxes full of dollar bills he has helped encourage us to spend over the last four or five years...

Thanks Mike (I think)

Thanks Randy, but I'd rather not...

Michael, thank you for your website, and all of its informational contributions. Sad that you have to let it go, but happier still that you shared your knowledge with us all. I've got your 901 install wired to memory now!

Michael, when I saw your website is when I first had the confidence to start buying porsche parts for my bug knowing they could be made to work. I must have read and re-read every page of your website at least two dozen times if not more. Thanks for helping me get started with my GL conversion. :D

I have finally managed to get my head around some HTML and got the pics to work on the first page of the Family Cab project.
