my scoobeetle.... 1303 super beetle german looker with Subaru Turbo

Hey chaps....

It can be done (eventually!!) and work on my 1303s 1975 German looker has just been completed and shes been set up like a dream on the rolling road!!!
has been a hard slog for many people but wanted to send a message to those engaged in this conversion... do not give up if its pissing you off COS ITs IS WELL AND TRULY WORTH IT!!!!!!! I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH BETTER I HAVE FOUND IT IN TERMS OF raw power + fuel economy and reliability!! and you can get a decent heating system too...

Dan what's ride height like off the axle stands?

Rich
PS it's a rebuilt legacy turbo with VOS chip, pro-tech dampers at rear and kerscher struts up front.

ha ha lol ride height feels great cos your looking straight down the nose and offers 0-60 no time at all .... !!! (no time exactly!!)

thanks for your comments guys and more pictures of the build can be seen on this link that will offer detailed information on cooling and handling.. i will load some cooling information also to your requested page................
