Scat split port heads???
 

I've just seen on a site scat split port head on a type 4. it's the second set I see (on seen in france during a meeting, and the second on the net..:rolleyes: ) what about these heads? are they realible? okey for a daily ?or exclusiv for racing? what are the exaust availeble for these heads? as somehone got or used these head recently? i'd like info about them.. prices? valve size? exaust? and all the rest...

The scat individual heads have a poor reputation. I have never heard of anyone running them on the street. I don't think anyone makes an exhaust to fit them so you would have to fab something yourself.
The best heads available these days are from Aircooled.net. They have several versions from direct replacements to CNC ported versions capable of supporting about 200hp with the correct engine configuration.

Split ports= YUCK! been there done that, tried it, never again.

What about AJ's heads @ lowbugget.com? I heard these are great also

I have heard that A.J. does great type 1 heads, don't know if he does type 4 heads.
