Diameter of 944 turbo front hub

Hello all-

Can anyone supply me with the outside diameter of the Porsche 944 turbo front hub? These are the ones where the brake rotor 'hat section' fits on from the outside in normal fashion, as opposed to the NA type hub where the rotor was mounted inboard.

I am thinking of using my 5x130 studded Ghia rotors as front hubs for bigger brakes by cutting off the original disc, leaving me with a sturdy cast iron hub with no bearing hassles. Besides, I already have them.

The ghia hub section diameter measures approximately 170mm.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Regards, Mark (Bugnutz).

This company www.powerhaus.com machines early Porsche hubs to accept the later disc's hat. They should be able to help you with some measurement specs.

Steve C,

What size holes did you drill into your discs? The look huge!

Thanks,

Randy

Hey, sorry to be so long with a reply. I decided to save the ghia stuff for another project, and went with a pair of billet hubs and caliper adapters to fit on BJ drum brake spindles from VDUB CUSTOMS. I'll let you know how it works out.
