Removable Rear Valance 1302
 

Ok so ive been doing some research on how to remove the rear valance on my super beetle but the question that has come to my mind is it looks like when you remove the rear valance you cant just pull the motor straight off it looks like the carb intake manifolds would hit the body. any help? do I need to remove the intake runners first then pull out the motor or just cut more body away to make the runners stay on when pulling out the motor. any help will be great thanks


o and yes I saw the tech tip here on the forum


the pics at the bottom of this post was the type of removable apron I was looking to do the onw on the tech tip cuts out much more body
