Porsche 996 GT3 RS wins Rolex 24 Overall
 

For those who couldn't follow the race this weekend at Daytona,
history was made at 1:00 pn EST. when the #66 The Racer's Group Porsche GT3 RS won the Rolex 24 hrs. at Daytona in it's class, and overall. Congrats to Kevin Buckler, Timo Bernhard, Michael Schrom, and Jorg Bergmeister.
I think this is the first time a GT car won overall.

It was another great weekend for PORSCHE. This was the first time a GT class car has won their since 1977. It was also the 20th overall victory for a PORSCHE- powered car in 41 Daytona endurance races.
