just ordered new bleed nipples for my brembos, genuine porsche parts. I needed 8 off these & they cost over £6.00 each...ouch..I think I get spoiled by VW prices etc...welcome to the world of porsche prices :D

I know what you mean. I "know" someone who paid $17 for the screws that hold the rotor on to the hub. Genuine Porsche, but I picked up the same screws at a local hardware store for $0.50

As Sandeep has pointed out. Sometimes you can find alternatives and save a few bucks... Then again sometimes it really is worth the extra dollars for a known quality Porsche part.

It included UPS shipping and yes...it was me that ordered the Porsche screws. Porsche has too many rare pitches in the threads they use.

I went to the official Porsche site and I think the only thing less than $500 was a money clip. But then an ashtray at the Rolls Royce dealership was $85. Bug parts are cheap.
