It depends on the kind of bolts the wheels take. For example, the bolts (nuts) on a Porsche wheel are cupped, while a centerline wheel is flat.
Maybe someone who has done this before can help. Sandeep |
what im trying to comprehen is do i need "press in studs" or what i dunno how that works this is my 1st custom wheel job.
shawn searched through the fourm im going to get 14mm press in studs i just hope this fits the wheels. shawn |
If you are going to stub the rotors you can get the right nuts pretty easy. Using a hole in the rotor with a special screw is a whole lot harder to find. I don't know where you are getting your wheels, but the nuts that originally came with the wheels are the ones you need to use. I think studs are safer for high performance applications and if the musclehead at the tire shop cross threads it you can put in a new stud alot cheaper than buying a new rotor.
