2.0 Bus Case from 76-77
The case should be fine to use, but I wouldnt use the 2.0 bus heads. They have the smallest valves and usually have seen the most wear. Try to find some good 1.8 or 2.0 914 Heads. |

This is great, i will most certainly enjoy building a massive t4. One more thing. What's the largest size crank you can put in the t4 before you start case clearancing? I would also like to know where in the U.S. can i buy a crankshaft which is balanced with flywheel, clutch and pressure plate.

I believe 74mm is the largest without clearancing.
Check out European Motorworks They sell t4 stuff and also do machine work & engine building so I am sure they can balance it for you. You might also want to check out Jake Raby He sells complete engine kits for T4's and they are fully balanced. |
