gauges, which ones?
 

i want to insall modern gauges. im thinking auto meter, but what gauges do you really need?
1 speedo
2 tach
3 oil pessure
4 oil temp
5 head temp
6 fuel
7 volt

did i miss anything? im having a hard time finding a series with a head temp. im sure the gauge wont say head temp, but wht should i use? im thinking about the ultra lite series.

any suggestions?

if you monitor oil temp, do you need head temp?

Yes, Head temp and oil temp are 2 totaly diff. things. You can have high head temp and norm oil temp.
You could add EGT to the list.

Exhaust Gas Temp.

I use head temp oil temp volts oil pressure and AIR FUEL RATIO
gauge by cyberdyne in conjunction with a 4 wire heated O2 sensor. You can't go wrong with this combo and some crazy carbs
(and a tuning fetish)!
