Ceramic brake pads?

Has anyone tried ceramic brake pads? I was thinking of installing Axxis/PBR Ultimate brake pads in my 944NA brake conversion. In addition to good performance, they are also supposed to have less dust.

Please don't quote me on this, but I think you might find there no good for road use as they have an optimum working temperature that would be near impossible to maintain on the road.
