Just a few little parts...
 

Anyone have a set of the little cast aluminum (?) blocks that a '70 rear seat back locks into. I carefully painted mine, packaged them up and put them away for safe keeping, promptly forgeting where. :rolleyes: Also I'm looking for a steering box from a standard, doesn't really matter about year... it's for a friend's home-built boat project (hey doesn't every project have to have some VW parts in it? :D )

Dave, where are these things located ?
Since I'm not usiing the backseat, I can rip 'em out for you.

Hey Rob, they are located just above the rear wheel hump, screwed into a little floating nut-plate, below the rear side window, about even with where the backrest of the back seat would meet the "wall" of the car.
