Front 1 side suspension sag
Hi,
I've built a Porsche 550 Spyder and have a bit of a sag on the drivers front side of about 3/4". Could it be that I need to replace the torsion springs or the adjuster nuts are AFU? Thanks. |
Try removing the shocks to see if the problem goes away. At least rule them out as the cause of the problem.

Good suggestion, I'll do that this weekend.
Thanks. |
The first thing you have to do is make sure you really have a problem. If you are measuring from the fender to the ground, that's probably your mistake. The body won't be as good as you think. Measure from the front beam to the ground.
If you still have a height variance, check the rear. If the front left is low, you will find the right rear is high. Drop the right rear and the left front will rise. |
Good point. My next question then would be how do I drop the right rear? Dropping the whole front is 'easy' with the adjusters but how is the rear adjusted and also how just one side?
