Source for bare late bumpers???
 

Anyone know where I can find bare or primed (no chrome) late-style bumpers for my '69 Beetle?

I have an extra painted (red) Mexican Bug front bumper from BeetleMex. It's new. It has turn signal indicator cutouts and the wider impact strip recess. You would need brackets to clear the indicators or modify stock ones.

Eventhough the web sit is up, I think btlmex is out of business. I think I got an email a few months ago say they're done. :sleep:

Sorry Loaf, they're already in the mail... ;)

No matter what do NOT USE BEETLEMEX. My last order, they charged my credit card, told me over the phone a dozen times it would be next week and now I am stuck. Even if they answer the phone, don't do it.
