Circle Yer Wagons, Sevierville, TN Oct. 3,4

Hello, Who will be attending the Circle Yer Wagons in Sevierville, TN? I believe it's on October 3, 4. I will be attending with the guy I've been working with.

It would be cool to get together and talk GL.

Also, everyone that attends the show will be able to see our pride and joys. :D

I am currently planning on going and look forward to seeing you there. Hopefully I will drive up from Atlanta on Friday afternoon.

not 100% sure yet as i want to attend the Euro 2004 in Greenville also to so some non-VW only events. nice blend of everything there. plus autocrossing.

That might be a little too far for me to drive but I want to set an example that milage doesn't matter. If I don't go up to TN how am I going to convince all of the northern VKG members to come down to BUGJAM. Is there a website so I can get directions. :D

BG, Good point. I found a link to a place you can see info about the show. Directions, and more about the show.

Since it only just over a week away, anyone else going?

boygenius September 24th 2004 02:33

Well I won't be able to make it to the show. My Grandma is in town visiting for 2 weeks and I haven't seen her in about a year and a half. So to all those that are going take some pics for those that can't make it. :D

i'm going to pass. i will be out of town the next weekend and then going to the Euro AutoFestival the following weekend (if i can get some work done on the rear by then i will be taking the bug).

I still don't know. I must swap the engine in the work beater out this weekend (using the old engine from the black car). Still havn't found carbs for it so I will have to run a stock carb for a while.
I wanted to take Joel to the Petit Le Mans Saterday but it is not in the budjet right now.

Don't think I'll make it to Sevierville, or Bug-Jam this year either. Too much hapening Bug-wise here, gotta save some $$$. :)

I'll send the grill to the show, in rememberance during my absence

That's our normal fall trip time to Gatlinburg, but not this year. We made Toccoa our fall trip and glad we did! Will probably be next summer before we get to travel again. It's really tough 'cause everybody was sooo great at Toccoa that it makes me want to go again now.

I just bought a set of 36 Dells for the beater car. So any funds I might have been able to round up for CYW are going to the Dells. Between paying for my oldest sons school and his plans to get married at the end of Oct. (I still had hope that they would hate untill spring). My funds look to be dried up for a while. Bug Jam dosn't look that promising eather. :(

It's all good :agree: I can understand how things come up. (Taccoa :()

Congrats on your son getting married. Do think you're ready to be a grandfather?

No kids "planed" yet for them. I can't say anything to them about how young they are as I was the same age when Nancy and I got married and 21 years later we are still together and doing well. They have had this planned for a while. It just got here before I knew it.
