Gear ratio question
 

Can anyone tell me stock gear ratios for a '70 bug box, sorry I don't have the code (and yes thanks I have tried the search... :( Or is there a link to where I can get the ratios?
Also, anyone know a Canadian (Ontario) trans rebuilder who is capable/decently priced.

Dave, that list is not very accurate. A 70 Bug with a 1600 never came with a 4.375:1 R&P. That R&P was only used on 1200s and 1300s. Your 1600 would have come with a 4.125:1 R&P.
