Spare wheel for Porsche hubs
|
Hi
That’s better than having a valuable 17-inch spare in the boot, hope you never need to use it but if you do and the wheel you take off will not fit in the boot have plastic garbage bag so that the passengers can nurse it without getting dirty. Steve |
Good choice Matt!
Those are for some reason pretty pricey wheels from what I have seen on e-bay... I gave up and just got a 16x6 C2 Design 90 for a spare as it was fairly cheap. |
Thanks,
You mention pricey on ebay.. Last summer I got ripped off £60 by a bogus ebayer, Ebay were most unhelpfull. The same wheel was in a few bogus auctions. I paid £60 for this one too, but I hope I don't need it. It's good to have a spare, It will be 3 years in March/April that my 17's have been on! Matt |
I would say for 3 years with no spare you are doing great! :)
Some of those people on e-bay are pure scum. Makes it a pain for normal people to use the auctions to buy/sell effectively. Luckily I have not had any issue yet (knock on wood). Take Care, |
I bought one of those alloy 15x5.5 spares...they don't fit correctly with BJ CB drop spindles.
The 17" spares that look similar are the ticket...but my pockets aren't that deep. |
Kinky Mick has a few:
