The fat one is on a Fuel Injected car.

my 75 1303 has the bubble rear apron... it was a fuel injected car :D
|
my 1973 got this bubble rear upron and its not fueled injected but it looks better on it :) :agree:
|
im sure its fuel injected for the fat bubble apron
|
i just found out today that there are no fuel injected bugs in egypt looool :)
they imported them and swapped the engines with the carburater  |
The US had two for their Supers: one for fuel injection and catalytic converter (1975-79 model years) and one for familiar pea-shooters (1971-74).
If we're talking worldwide, I believe there are more than just two rear aprons. In fact, there may be more than two "bubble" aprons. I was investigating the notion that Supers were manufactured outside of Germany, and I thought I noticed differences in aprons. I will double-check the sources I have access to. |
