Porsche wheel info???

Anybody have a link for the wheels and offset for Porsche?
I have one but it is only the 944's
944 wheel offset

don't know of any charts off hand, but we can probably tell you the offset if you have particular rims you are talking about. just need style and size.

Thats the trouble though . Some times you come across a good deal and have to act quickly. So it would be nice to have the info ahead of time so I'd know what to look for and not bug the heck out of you guys all the time.
Did cookie cutters come in a late offset? 52-55mm? I need late offset wheels for my 58' panel project.

cookie cutters came in 23mm and 36mm offsets only AFAIK

6 inch wide ones are 36mm offset, and 7 inch ones are the 23mm offset. This is also the same for the early Phone dials (15 inch ones) and 15 inch Fuchs

I believe that later 15 inch dials had the 50 something offset, and so did the 16s. I don't know about the Fuchs.

The slot style had huge offsets as they came off the 928 and similar- 60mm offset on the fronts! I'd recommend avoiding these.

The design 90's had lots of various offsets- all around the 50 something mm. Same with the 16 inch Boxter wheels.

I'd recommend asking for a backspace measure before commiting, or ask for the size as written on the inside of the later wheels (eg 7J16et52, 7 inch wide, 16 diameter and offset 52mm).

What brakes and guards are you planing on? This makes a big difference.

I have seen a couple of other sites with notes on wheel sizes but I'm afraid I can't find them now.

Good luck
Cheers
Jeremy

I use this one mostly for Fuchs...I haven't found any flaws with the PN's.

'Late' offset is typically 52.3mm and 'early' is typically 23.3mm. A few mintues searchin' on Google would probably find you the answers you look for.

Wow- thats brilliant!

Are you able to speak with one of the moderators and have a better version of that placed under the tech articles or similiar? It would be well worth having that available to point people at for these queries.

I would have made my life easier several years ago.....

Cheers

if you have any scans that are clearer, that would help. if not, i can try and do something with these and get them posted for ongoing use.

This is great! now I just need a new project to put the wheels on. I knew someone must have the info. I spent hours on google checking for the info a couple months back and just found the 944 site.
