90 hp obtainable from a 1600?

I am looking for 90 hp from my 1600. My plan is go get my heads both intake and exhaust ports ported, then put in a 1:4 ratio roller rockers arms, steel valves, hi rev springs, merged header with a fatboy muffler, and dual Kardons? What will my numbers look like, and is with worth my time and money?

In order to get 90hp I think you need an other camshaft and two double cabs. Even higher, comp 8.5 to 9.5-1. I’ll estimate your configuration to make 70-75hp…

It's possible to get over 100 from a 1600, but that's in race trim and build only for race. In other words, a disposable engine. High comp, aggressive cam, you name it. I think you can make a more durable for the HP 1776 than you can a 1600. If you want to make 100hp stock, go for a type 4 engine. Best of luck!
