More air to the fan
 

Seems that I have seen this somewhere... but maybe it's my imagination...

I'm thinking that I can route plenty of air to the fanshroud by using a scoop of some type under the car with a flexible duct directing air to the fanshroud. Obviously this would help when the car is in motion and may restrict somewhat when the car is still. Has anyone seen such a device, pics, mounting suggestions, parts lists, etc?

I was thinking something like a modified dryer duct on the axle tube... it may look a bit rigged, but if it keeps the engine compartment from starving for air it would be worth it.

No_H2O did something similar to duct air to his oil cooler. Sandeep the same in a different way. neither were for engine cooling though. i will be doing something for my engine sometime this year. i will be using NACA ducts in the rear quarter windows though and ducting to through the top of the firewall straight over the carbs.

I saw a tech article on Cal-Look.com a few years ago on how to do this.
