Boden tube
 

we replaced the tranny in my manx sr with a later model one and dont know where to mount the boden tube. On the transmission there is a cast piece sticking out of the case. But on the other end there is nothing. I am running an earlier swingaxle. Am i missing a piece or what. If so can I make it or are they available from a local vw parts dealer. All help welcome.

The later trannys used a fabricated sheet metal bracket for the bowden tube, they are very common, most VW shops have them laying around.
