What is the clutch setup in a Subaru/Porsche union?
 

When using a Subaru powerplant and the Porsche 915 trans, which brands clutch gets used? Porsche (eek!) or Subaru (aaaahhh.)?

On my car it used the complete stock Porsche clutch (Kennedy adapter kit)

Did you have any shifting issues with it?

My reading shows that there is an issue with the 915 boxes and smooth shifting.

What are your thoughts on this?

The 915 definitely needs a slow deliberate shift, it used Porsche's own synchro design which didn't like to be rushed. I'd go G50 next time if I changed from a type 1 box.
