I'd like to see a few close up pictures too. I'm not too sure about the 911 shifter I have now, and I still have to buy the bushings. :( Might be better just to get a new shifter and plug the giant hole in my tunnel. It's already cut for the 911 shifter. Oh well, fixing the tunnel would be easier than fabing a radiator mount and making a subaru fit a Ghia. Two things I'm already doing. ;)

5 speed shifter 915

@ Mikey:

I have a brand new shifter for Porsche 911-installation. If you alread did the conversion to an original Porsche-shifter you could also use this one. Can be seen on my site under Projekte/Schalthebel Porsche-Style. It has the same short shift ratios than the other shifter but comes with this special aluminium casted housing for Porsche-installation.

915 source

Anyone have a good source in the states of a low priced, used 915? I'm looking just for something that will work in my kit car. Thanks.

Mikey,

Pics are on their way.. but here is some FYI.

Check the link http://www.bugat5speed.de/cms/content/view/119/41/

Check under Projects/ Schalthebel 5-Gang Porsche-Style

This is the 911 shifter that Martin referenced. As you can see it has the porsche shifter base, but same shifting mechanism as our bug shifter.

One step at a time. :D
