I got called out by my daughter!
The bus is in the process of getting a dropped spindle conversion to drop the front 3.5". No problem there.
I was goofing around putting different wheels up on the hubs to see how they would look on the bus. Most everything I have is 15" or 16", no big deal. My 5 year old daughter is watching the whole time and torturing captured "pet" caterpillars and stuff like that... Of course I ask her opinion. "Not big enough. I want Hot Wheels wheels." LOL A 5 year old caught up in bling already! ... Then again I showed her pictures of 17"s and she claimed not big enough either... But for a bus 17" is about as far as I want to go on the street. |
she want hotwheels .....
give her 17" hotwheels. i think they'd look sick on a bus http://adaptivestrategies.com/HotWheelsSixty-Eight.jpg |
I did not know those even existed! Those are very sweet!
... I just went ahead with these: http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccpix/67252.jpg Here is the tough part... I have two fronts 17x7 ET55... Now I need two more! Yah right, good luck :( |
The judge came back and said not big enough. :(
On further inquizition... She wants a monster truck! Lifted mud toy special. Apparently a kid Hunter in her classes father has one and she loves it. Darn a redneck kid already! She thinks high is cool... I say low is cool. She also wants to repaint the bus since it looks "slobby"... And she is right :bawling: |
i love those wheels i want them mfor my bug. pillow i bet your paint isnt as bad as mine. a jack blew up the other day and the fluid went all over my car :bawling:

This thread is killing me. One good thing about being a geezer -- and I cling to any I can find -- is I have already been through what you are now going through.
One of my cousins has been into monster trucks since she was five. My brother won't take her to any of these shows because they are too low brow for him. My daughter, 15, went into a deep sulk because we sold our '93 Westy. The two cars she now wants most for herself -- and, of course, we currently own neither -- are a Thing with a three-inch lift (won't happen) and a Scirocco with a one- to two-inch drop (maybe). The point is a '66 Westy is cool whether it is up, down or showroom. Oh ... and you can forget about her losing her taste for bling. :D |
Bow sorry to hear about the fluid! Hopefully it did not eat up the paint like brake fluid would :(
Oasis, I dunno man Scirocco -2" or Thing +3" is cool by me :) Both are cool rides when done right. Granted a lowered Thing is pretty darn sweet as well. |
yeah it ate through it just like brake fluid im pretty mad considering i painted my car 2 months ago
|
Bow, I cry with you on that one :bawling:
|
thanks man i hope no one has to have that happen to them
