Keep Kafer Bar Or Not
 

hi, im in two minds at the moment, i'm in the middle of a scooby conv. on my split bug... but i already have a kafer bar installed and im thinking about moving the transmission forward to make the complete conv. neater....

what do people think ?

No doubt in my mind, move it forwards. Nothing worse than heads sticking through bits of bodywork, especially on a split, helps handling too. Although I think you may end up modifying it so much you may as well make a new trapeze as the turbo will be in the way..
