Mallory Unilite (to vac or not to vac)

That IS the question...

So i got my 1303 on the road (YAY! but not complete just yet). Im not happy with the SVDA dizy i have now (i cannot get it dialed in).
The motor im running is a T1 1914cc with a mild/hot cam (close to a W 130) and some CNC CB 35x40 heads. breathing Via the dual Dellorto 40mm carbs (36mm chokes i think),the motor is a screamer (not a lot of torq bellow 3K. Anyways, The carbs have vac ports on Bolth carbs (thats 2 throttle boddies worth) with them "T"ed into a single input, w/no anti pulse valves.
So, Im at 4000-4500 feet in elevation, running a lot of advance is what im looking for (easy 34+ total) and would like more when im at only 1/8-1/2 throttle
Im just really not sure if im getting the right signal to control the vac canister to start with.
But i would like to have more adjustability with a distributor than i have right now. the Mallory looks to be a VERY nice unit and seams to have all the potential for adjustability i could dream of.
The real question is do i got for a unilite with the vac advance option or simply do all mechanical and say screw it. What kind of vac signal am i needing at 1/8- 1/2 throttle to gain anything with the vac can?

Also i was thinking of a CDI box from mallory aswell, any opinions with those units? (i need some form of electronic RPM killer for those intense focus moments when i cannot look at the tach.

Thanks guys, i will get some pictures posted some day once i have time (or when im done).

Well i got my SVDA dizy working (I forgot to pull the vac line off before setup:o ) but I still think i could use a little bit more adjustments.
I dont have any anti-pulse valves in place for the vac canister... Is there are source for such a part here in the USA? or is it really needed? the signal sure is all over the place when i have a guage setup on it.
