Anyone textured their pan?
 

I'm thinking of texturing the floor of the pan, including the inside of the doors and undercarriage. (places that will not be visible after restore) I will take off the tarboard on the floorpan, texturize and use dynamat type material.

Has anyone else done this? If so what are the pros and cons?

I was thinking of using the texturizer on the ceiling and on the firewall (both sides) as well. Hopefully this will decrease the road noise as well as give more strength to the material and a more solid sound when i close the doors.

I guess not?? Anyone?

i used rubberized undercoating on top and bottom of my pan before the final coat of black paint. Then I used a couple layers of B-Quiet ultimate everywhere there was tar boards before.
still have to finish up the tunnel in this pic.
