cylinder head torques
 

A mechanic buddy of mine said back in the 60's and 70's when they did a lot of VW tune-ups, they regularly re-torqued the heads. Anyone hear of doing this before? We just re-activated a 1972 bay with a 1.7 that has been sitting around for 9 years and I was wondering if this would be a necessary step in getting it up and going.
