944 NA calipers

I have searched and it always is that someone is putting na porsche calipers on VW drum spindles. But I must know is it easier to make brackets and mount na calipers to vw drum spindles or disc spindles. Thanks I am getting ready to buy drop spindles and didn't want to get the wrong ones.

I searched with better terms and found out that it is a lot easier to mount Porsche brakes on drum spindles. Disc spindles create a problem where the caliper must be cut, drilled, and taped. Sorry for creating the thread.

Dropped spindles will not work with na calipers .The steering arm fouls caliper

What if I move the caliper to the opposing side?

Then the caliper hits the trailing arms on turn. I've put the NA calipers on dropped spindles, but it does require alot of machining of the spindle for caliper clearance. I prefer to use the socal welded spindles for that application. I've done a handful, and am no longer doing the conversions due to the amount of work required. It's easier to do a 944T setup on a dropped spindle.

With the turbo caliper what is the best choice of spindle for ease of mounting modification? Disc or drum?
