Would it be practical to use the side to side placement of these clamps to tune the bar at all? Basically you'd just be allow the lateral part of the bar to bend more...

Will need somne verification on this but I believe fastys and notches have the same 22mm TB as a beetle, but the squarebacks are 23.5, same as a 944.

Thanks Steve, although when I got the 944 bar I took the outside clamps, bushings, drop links and bolts so I should be good to go. Good reference for others though.

I've run the numbers in my spreadsheet and with 150lbs in the front, stock rear TB's, and 150lbs rear coilovers...

Keep in mind that so far I've only had it doing auto-cross and a few high speed on/off ramps, I won't get to a road-course...
