No they will not lower the rear, adjustable means you can set the hardness (rebound, compression). Unless they are coil overs und you get rid of the torsion bars.

I`m using disc brake spindles of a 72 ball joint axle, took 2 CSP discs (SEBRO) with Porsche 5 stud pattern and machined them down to the inside diameter
of the GT3 discs and use them as hubs....

Soul,
I used BMW brake shoes for models 525I, 530I, 535I, 730I, 735i, 745I from model year 85 on. These models use the same brake shoes as the 944 does.

Hi,
I`ve chosen to go the Sandeep way and have to say it works good.
Got the rear assembled using GT3 discs, offset is slightly different need 3mm spacers to go between the discs and the hubs made....
