I have done the same thing...more than once! :lmao: The way I got around it was to use a bull nose "live" center in the tail stock to put pressure on part against some round stock with rubber glued...

That lower section of the (missing) rear rocker...

That lower section of the (missing) rear rocker panel was part of the problem. That helps set the door gap since it connects the "B pillar" to the heater channel.
