150# is probably spot on. I have 115# right now and want to get into 135-150 range. My car is a street car, family hauler so I'm not after track specs.

Turn the early hubs down to 157mm and theyll fit the 986s rotor. I can make the caliper adapter but the axial offset can vary depending on how your 944 hubs were machined for t1 spindles.

They look like they should be crimped. Maybe take them to a store that makes hydraulic hoses and see if they can crimo them? Or DIY with a battery cable crimper...the kind that you hit with hammer?

It should work. The piston area between 944 Turbo S calipers 38/44mm and the GT2 28/32/38mm is almost negligible. You may have bad piston seals or you arent fully bled.

No idea on the 944 auto axles, but the splines should be same for the early 944/thing joints and type 1/3 axles. Its only the late 944s that had different splines.

The joint width is different...

Yeah the 951 (944turbo) only came 7 and 8, both 23mm offset.

The modern offset wheels +52 to +55mm will fit better and clear the calipers, if you like the look.

The 951 part number 16"fuchs will fit without spacer as the spokes allow for the calipers. The 911 pn ones will require alot of spacer
