Get the ARP head studs and case bolts from LNengineering. There are very sturdy and look awesome. You will need to get a good tap and die set to tap the holes and clean them up before installing...

I have the sharpbuilt 911 cooling kit for my type-4 and have one simple question that I can't see to get the anwser to.

Where do you get the strap to hold down the fan housing to the base?

First of all...nice looking motor. That appears to be a sharpbuilt fan shroud...do you have any pics of the actual case machining? Also, where did you get the fan housing strap?

Well, this is what happened. I bought the shroud from Mike Sharp a couple of weeks ago and when it arrived, it was the wrong one. It is a type-4 shroud with the spark plug holes in the location...
