many thanks in this case we now know that only the tacho would fit in the type 3 tacho housing the rev counter is to big to fit at all ! now i do need a tacho that is capable of showing over...

ok hate to be a pain but can i gat a real acurate mesurement of the size of the back of the instruments from somebody please not across the face but the bit that go,s into the hole on your dash...

can somebody tell me the outside diameters of those gauges please i wonder if they fit into the stock openings of a typ3 dash??
