Cooling ducts for front rotors

Is there any advantage to route cooling ducts to std solid rotors?
I suppose it works well with ventilated discs but is it worth it on solids??

Are std bug master cylinder 67-79 and super beetle mc 71-> interchangeable?

Read: can I use a std mc in my super?
I know the piston dia is the same but is there something else to know???
