The early audi trans can be made to work in a beetle and all early and late share the same bolt pattern but only the early type to 80 if I remember correctly is worth the trouble. the later type...

I think that the bosch jetronic knock sensor system (type one) with the single knock sensor and without the knock reference programming of the motronic system should work just fine on an aircooled...

I got one thats in reasonable shape, Actually I have three two German and one mexican bocar 34 pict thats like new. I personally dont use them anymore since I discovered other solex models.
