You have 15 tooth side gears instead of 17 tooth, which takes the 10 tooth spyders instead of the 11s, the strongest VW made. And they were spliced to 091 splines. GOOD parts!

Pete's side gears in his t1 trans have been cut and spliced to 091 splines. I had a pair of these but were spliced to 002 bus splines and ran all t2 cvs then, most better trans people can supply...
