Mexican Beetle for German Look
Alohas,
Anyone in the States using a Mexican Beetle to make a GL? Just wondering. I'm guessing that it might be a hassle to register a GL Mexican Beetle (if it has a Type IV engine for instance)...

I'm very tempted to find myself a Type-3 to do up in GL fashion. Does anybody know how well these cars can be modified for superior handling? I have NEVER ridden in a T-3 of any model.

I like that first burgundy Ghia. Nice and clean. The Notch looked nice too, but I'm not one for scalloped paint jobs.
