offset
i asked this question before. i was told that it could be either, the earlier wheels were et24, where as some of the later wheels were et40. i am not 100% positive, but that is what I was told.

Recarros
I installed a set of recarros from a 92 GTI in my standard. I welded the vw palatform right to the seat, looks great, and comfortable, the audi seats will fit with a little work.

Widened Fenders
I have a set of CCC 2.5 front, and 3 in. rear widened fenders, about to get the car ready for spring. though about going with spacers and high-offset wheels, was advised not to! does anyway know...
