I counted all the stuff I needed to wire in the engine bay andmade a twisted wire bundle, color coded it and with rubber gromets went under the package tray and thru the body above the torsion beam....

I don't know about driving on the track in 8 days, the flap needs more time to reatatch. That is way you have to use drops, so you don't move the flaps.
As for regular sunglasses, I bought 10-15...

I had Lasik done 3 years ago. My eyes were real bad, I had some coke bottle that kept 2 red sore spots on my nose all my life. I now have 20/15 site in both eyes.
Best money I ever spent. :agree:
