I'm not exactly sure on the spacers, I think about 8-12mm. The 7's will work on the ghia, maybe you might have to narrow the beam a touch but not as much as you would on a bug, since there is more...

The 16" fuchs will fit fine with 944T brakes if they are the '951' part number. The '911' pn ones will foul the back of the spokes and require spacing.
