The best way to real power is a Type 4 engine, just do the heads correctly the first time around and it will last and last, bullet proof bottom end also

maybe a set of OEM Jetta BBS (RXIIs) would also look...

I'm busy planning my first Type4 engine. I had the following combo in mind:

2,0L Type4

-Standard crank,rods and pistons, balanced,ARP rod bolts
-Standard Squareport cylinder heads...
