Nice interesting interpretation!!!

For me, I see the Standards as compared to the Porsche 356, as they are both of a older design and have torsion bars all around. And the rears came with swing axles too?

The 911 has got struts in front, so it's only fair the Supers be likened to them... Also they got IRS in the back, which the Suoers got as well. I know beginning '69, all Standards got IRS in the rear, but in my part of the world, swings remained standard on the Standard (pun unintended). Hehe...

And to me, the Type I engined Supers are more 912 than 911, since the 912 ran the 356 engine which looks so much like the Type I ppwerplant. Hehe... Now, a Type IV engined Super is much closer to the real McCoy....
